In Boca Chica there are various restaurants of international cuisine. The owners, that at first arrived as tourists, have then decided to live and work in this fascinating tropical town. Mostly are Italian restaurants as this part of the island is frequented by Italians, while the north of the Dominican Republic is visited by English, French and German tourists.

The typical Dominican plate is rice with beans, chicken or meat. Another speciality is rice with lambi, similar to polypus. You can eat these plates at a very low price in Dominican restaurants: ”Fernando” and “La Criolla”.
The choice of the places is wide, but the first decision is if to eat on the beach enjoying the beautiful landscape, or in one of the numerous restaurants in the “Duarte”, the main street.
Someone prefers the beach also in the night.
There are restaurants: “Pesciolino”, “Caribe Beach”, ”Neptuno” and “Boca Marina”
and bars: ”Isla Bonita” and “Boat House” opened till late in the night where you can have your dinner or enjoy your drink in a very suggestive and romantic scenery.
During the day in the beach ,that is long almost two km from hotel Hamaca to the nautical club of Andres ,you can see plenty of bars and restaurants.
“Terrazza Cesar” beside the traditional plate of the Italian cuisine offers one of the best pizza of the town.
“Colibrì” is well known for its friendly and familiar atmosphere. Mr Bruno, the owner is always available to give the best advices to his clients. The food is good and at a very competitive price.
“Puerco Rosado“ managed for years by Petra and Cesare with fantasy and organization, is the most elegant and perfect in every details.
They all offer free chairs and umbrella to their clients.

Walking along where the beach reaches its greatest beauty and wideness many other places merit to be visited: “Sporting Club“ ,”Don Emilio”, ”Playa del sol“and … much more.
The choice is only of the tourist; he should remember that he can also spend the day undisturbed on his towel under a palm, drinking a pinacolada or eating a plate of fresh fruit.
