Boca Chica is not only sea, beach and sun but also lively nightlife. At sunset, the street “Duarte” becomes closed to the traffic and assumes a glad and pleasant atmosphere. Its numerous bars: “Liquor Store”, “Zanzibar”, “La Criolla”, occupy the entire street with theirs tables and chairs.

The lovers of dance and local music, can find numerous discopubs: “Piano Plaza”, “American Bar”, “Isla Bonita” and discotheques: “Ambaradan” and “El Greco”, that is open all night. The friendly and lively atmosphere is perfect also for … the single!!!! Who arrives alone, since the first day does not know the loneliness and easily enters inside the Dominican world and in the thoughtless way of living of its inhabitants. Not too far away from the center has been recently opened a big open terrace “Jumbo” where every night people go to dance and very often famous musical groups of bachata and merengue exhibit in concerts from the alive.

In Andres, a town a few km away, easily reached by bus, taxi or motochonco (mototaxi the most popular, practical, and economical transport of the island) there are more discotheques: “Mundo Center”, “Macumba”, “Plaza Mundo”, frequented mostly by Dominicans, but the tourists are always welcomed.

The cordiality, the friendship and the harmony that always creates between local people and the tourists, made them to return to spend their vacations year after year. For whom prefers open places: the typical “Chencon” is very busy in the week end and “Tropical” on the beach of Andres, is a suggestive place full of folklore.

At last, not to forget the elegant casino inside the hotel “Hamaca” that entertains the games lovers till late night.
